Jackie McCarthy was born and raised in New Jersey, and always gravitated towards the dramatic arts. From falling in love with films to stumbling into theater during freshman year of high school, acting became Jackie's main creative and connective outlet. She graduated from Montclair State University with her BFA in Acting. Jackie has starred in various TV, film and theater productions, most recently Forbidden Love (ShortsTV) American Dynasty (Roku Channel, FoxNation), The Playboy Murders (Investigation Discovery). Life on Pause (Award-winning short), and The Beholden (off-broadway at the Chain). She is a NJ, PA and NY local hire.

Not only does Jackie love being in front of the camera, but she thrives in the collaboration that goes into it. She's worked production on multiple TV and film sets, most recently on the short film Hold (starring Debra Monk), as well as general production work with brands such as Coach and Warby Parker.

Jackie gravitates toward work that is grounded in realism; stories that aren't afraid to shy away from the rawness and beauty that is being human. She also has a strong silly side, and likes projects that allow her inner child to roam free.
